Congratulations to all of our Macaoimhs who participated in the Annual County Macaoimh Sports Evening held in Douglas Hall AFC grounds. On a dry bright night set for fun, friendly participation and records to be broken on the field of sport, the 74th Group did just that, our group won the Tug-Of-War with a great display of team work, 1st place in the under 12s 100m, 2nd place in the under 10s 100m, 3rd place in the 3 legged race, 4th in the Sack race, 5th in the Egg and Spoon race, 5th in the 4 by 100m relay and 2nd in the 400m individual race, the 74th Group was also presented with second place trophy for overall achievement on the night.
The 74th group was presented with the following awards, Best Group Spirit Award, Most Improved Group, 1st in Kilcully Outdoor Hike, 3rd in the Indoor Inspection and our group achieved second place overall, congratulations to our group on all their achievements over the year.
