74th Cork

On Saturday 29th Sept last,  30 of our Macaoimh, Beavers, family members and leaders spent the morning geared-up in gloves with litter-pickers and plastic bags, scouring Douglas Woods. The hunt was on for all types of litter to help Douglas Tidy Towns Committee in their efforts. Tremendous enthusiasm was shown  by the 74th ; clambering down slopes, wading through the stream and scouring the undergrowth in a worthwhile effort to clean up the Woods. Well done to all involved. Special Interest Badges ( Community) will be presented shortly to all participants.
