TRIP TO DOUGLAS PARK ON SATURDAY 21ST SEPTEMBER
When we went to the clean up at Douglas woods we all had to wear hi-viz vests and gloves and some of us got litter pickers. At the start of the clean up there were tonnes of bottle caps and then we came across the bottles that went with them. Some of the people that were cleaning went behind a bush and found a big bag of rubbish that was already filled up to the top. There were loads of slopes and we all went up them and down them and found lots of litter.
When we got out of the woods and on to the field we were all roasting. After a while of being on the field we got back to where we started and most of the boys went under the bridge to play in the water and one of them came back out with a stick covered in cobwebs and showed that this was the amount of cobwebs underneath the bridge.
